Starbucks have just opened a new location on the Las Vegas Strip, that does things a little different on the inside.
Instead of the typical tables and chairs, they included theatrical stadium style seating, that has enough room for 30 to 40 people, as well as surrounding bench seating.
Store designer, Eric Mele, says, “This is a unique seating experience tailored to the idea of theater. Customers can enjoy the tiered spaces on either side of the grandstand seating, which organizes the space architecturally while providing great views to the theater of our coffee bar or to that of the bazaar beyond.”
A variety of materials have been used throughout the space, including walnut wood, black steel, concrete and glass.
While sitting in the central seating, customers are able to watch a mini movie on the 150 square foot movie screen, that shows the story of Starbucks coffee from bean to cup.
