Beautiful Korean Traditional Hanboks Photographs

The hanbok is a Korean traditional costume, that we wear during a Korean traditional feast called “Chuseok”. In 2008, the magazine Vogue Korea asks to the fashion photographer Kim Kyung Soo to put in the honor the magnificence of these costumes, characterized by lively colors and rather simple cuts ; colors are never the same for the top and the bottom, and the hanboks differs according to the social status of the person. We wore this costume until to 1960s, and the rare pieces cost a lot today. So it’s through his series The Full Moon Story that the artist suggests a mesmerizing and hypnotic sweetness of melancholic models, dressed in pastels colors.
